Welcome Message

Singapore’s International Asperger Parent Support Group comprises parents of children moving towards, or already diagnosed with, Asperger Syndrome.

The Group is open to all parents of children on the autistic spectrum but particularly focussing on the needs affecting those with Asperger Syndrome.

The Group was set up by parents of “Third Culture Kids??children of families who are from other countries and cultures living in a foreign country!  Our members come from a variety of countries and backgrounds. Their children range from pre-schoolers to teenagers, and attend local and international schools or undertake home schooling programmes.

We welcome families from all backgrounds, countries and cultures who feel they could benefit from the group even though we do focus on the special needs facing Third Culture Kids with all the other challenges that brings

We meet monthly to discuss issues involved in raising our children in Singapore. Members exchange ideas and resources and share knowledge of schools, therapies and therapists.  We organise occasional guest speakers to talk about a range of issues such as social skills, dietary options and physical therapies.

Our meetings are friendly and informal and one of the main aims of our group is to provide support for one another.
